Anxiety, Depression, & Self-Esteem
Do you ever notice the words, “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not worthy,” or “I'll be found out for what I really am” come into your mind?
Are there times where, even when things are ok, you still feel a sense of uneasiness and doubt?
Are there parts of yourself that you have wanted to share but worried they won’t be received?
I offer you a safe environment in which we can explore together where these beliefs and feelings about yourself come from.
It is so easy to push those words aside and yet those sentiments about ourselves can impact who we are and tell us if we feel ok to connect with people.
How we talk to ourselves can influence if we go for a job, if we go for a relationship, and if we go for the life we want.
The clients I work with have been striving for autonomy and happiness while they hold this heavy sentiment that they are not worth it or are undeserving.
I have helped people explore the root of that sentiment while they find compassion for themselves and what they have had to go through. I have seen the impact that counseling can have on a person's sense of self and movement toward what they want and I am honored to be part of the collaborative process.
