The privacy of my website visitors is of the utmost importance. This Privacy Policy details the types of personal information received and collected, as well as how it is used. Collection of Information

Personal information you disclose to me

When you visit my website; place a comment on a post; subscribe to a newsletter; respond to a survey; fill out a form; click on a link; or connect with other activities, services, features, or resources available on my site, I may ask for your name, email address, and/or other personal information from you. Some of this information (like your IP address) may be automatically collected, and more personal details (like name and email address) may only be collected with voluntary consent from the user. You can always refuse to supply this personal information, except that it may prevent you from engaging in certain site related activities.

My site is hosted by Squarespace. Personal information (as defined below), hosted by or through Squarespace, is subject to their privacy policy, which may or may not contain terms as protective as this Privacy Policy. Squarespace uses analytics tools to help me measure traffic and usage trends for my site. Squarespace automatically collects certain information when you visit, use, or navigate this site. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information), but it may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use my site, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of my site, as well as for internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Usage of Information

Perceptive Counseling LLC may collect and use personal information for the following purposes: to improve customer service; personalize user experience; improve this site; run a promotion, contest, survey, or other site feature; and to send periodic emails. If a user decides to opt-in to my mailing list, they will receive emails that may include news, updates, related product or service information, or more. If at any time the user would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, I will include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of every email.

In short, I only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

I will only share and disclose your information in the following situations:

  • Compliance with Laws.   • Vital Interests and Legal Rights. I may disclose your information when it is believed to be necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of my policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which Perceptive Counseling is involved.

  • Other Third-Party Service Providers. I may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for my business or on its behalf and require access to such information to do that work. Examples include payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing efforts. This information may be used to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand online activity. Unless described in this policy, I do not share, sell, rent, or trade any of your information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
